Automotive
• Light/Heavy Vehicle Motor Mechanic – Certifcate III Automotive (Mechanical Light Vehicle) or (Mechanical Heavy Vehicle) (4yrs)
• Spare Parts Interpreter - Certificate III Automotive (Sales – parts interpretation (4yrs)
Engineering
• Fitting & Turning – Certificate III Engineering Mechanical (4yrs)
• Boiler Making – Certificate III Engineering Fabrication (4yrs)
Duties & Tasks
Automotive
• Repair & tune engines
• Reassemble, test, clean & adjust parts
• Diagnose, repair & Replace Engine management/fuel injection components
Engineering
• Set-up & adjust metalwork machines
• Operate machines to produce parts or tools
• Fit & assemble metal parts
• Set-up/operate hand & machine tools
• Check numeracy & quality of finished parts
